Bravo Two Charlies New comedy pilot, written by Matt Leys and Martin Trenaman set in the tilted world of North Wales Traffic Police. Adapted from the successful series on BBC Radio Wales, we meet six officers in three cars who are just trying to get the job done. And, broadly, failing. PC Dennis Babb (Martin Trenaman), ex-Met, thinks he's seen it all but hasn't. He now faces his biggest challenge: spending all day in a car with PC Lee Cushion (Rhys ap Trefor), a man so naive he's never thrown a snowball or made an arrest. Sgt Vincent Price (Simon Holland Roberts), the "before" picture in an Anger Management advert, shares a car with PC Gavin Howells (Sion Pritchard), very much the 'after'. PC Penny Nadaraja (Saroja-Lily Ratnavel), the Mancunian Cagney, and PC Grace Bevan (Laura Dalgleish), the South Walian Lacey, are best mates who do some light traffic policing on the side. And Sian (Sarah Beeese), the radio despatch op, is engaged to PC Howells and keen on signs saying things like 'sorry coffee, this is a job for prosecco'. The mountains, the coast, the villages and towns of north Wales make the landscape a character in itself, helping shape the stories. The series has North Wales running through it like Llandudno through a stick of rock. Leopard Pictures co-production for BBC Wales
