An irreverent look at the world of Scottish Football, hosted by Craig G Telfer and panellists including Joel Sked, Shaughan McGuigan, Craig Fowler and Robert Borthwick. A View from The Terrace will dissect the ins and outs of the Scottish footballing week just passed, and offer analysis and opinion in its own unique way. 'It's Only Week X' sees the team present to the audience a bold claim that they have to demonstrate the cojones to back up and "On The Fence" will see them decide if a recognisable face from the world of Scottish football is for them or not and why. They build their own on-field monster, analysing with scalpel-like precision to harvest the limbs of the Scotland's best players in creating their very own "Frankenballer" and jostle for a spot in the A View From the Terrace "Fives" team alongside four SPFL regulars. Looking at the action to come, in "Heart vs Head" the panel will open up about what they want to happen before crashing back down to earth as they forecast the reality of a team's weekend fate - or with "Future Headlines" they will make predictions on what will happen this weekend based upon imagined newspaper headlines, Twitter hot takes and forum meltdowns. As well as the current season, the panel will also delve into our country's footballing history to make a case to enshrine a moment of Scottish Football history, for future generations to feast upon, in 'The Time Capsule'. They'll debate the true talking points of Scottish Football in "See Ya Later Debater" such as 'Will Scotland's men's team ever make a major tournament again?', or "Will Celtic win every single competition in Scotland for eternity?" They'll have a bit of fun playing "Stats are for Idiots" as they try to sort the truth from Scottish football fiction. Each week the panel will be joined by social media's Robert Borthwick, a man known for his wit and whimsy on Twitter that riles and rallies fans of every club in equal measure. He'll present to the panel his favourite clips, comments, GIFS and antics from the world of social media whether that's from fans, players, teams or managers. If it's funny, silly or mad and it happened online, Rob will know, and so will you. As well as the studio, each week will see the show punctuated by two segments that will take you deep into the heart of Scottish football culture telling the stories of the clubs, fans, players, managers, tea ladies, mascots and anyone else that make football in Scotland so unique. A View From The Terrace seeks answers to the biggest questions; What happens next for those clubs on the rise or going down? Is it better to be a big fish in a wee pond or a wee fish in a big pond? What does football look like from far away? What is it like as a young player to have the world at your feet and then 'not make it'? What makes a stadium a home? We want to dissect and celebrate our country's game from top to bottom. How do you motivate a group of players when money is taken out of the equation? What is it like to watch your club's greatest player? What next for the women's game in this country? The show always ends with a refreshing and sometimes surprising bang in "Last Minute Winner" where bands or artists cover a Scottish football anthem but there's more. We will look to reflect on some of Scottish football's most iconic moments and seek alternative perspectives on our game from comedians and artists too. It is a free-flowing yet tactically sound, silly but solid, jovial yet passionate look at football in Scotland. From the top of the pile to the hard-working lower leagues, from what happens on the pitch to what happens in between, it looks at the stars and the unheralded backroom stalwarts. This is Scottish Football. It means everything and it means nothing and this is what it looks like from the terrace.
